Frequently asked questions
Can I try a template without signing up?
Yes. You can open the preview and work in the Design Studio without an account. You only need an account when you save and create the event. Unsaved anonymous drafts expire after 14 days.
How much can I customise a template?
You can change colours, fonts and the countdown style, write your own texts, choose a cover photo or video and decide which sections to show. It is not a free-form graphic editor: the style stays that of the template family you choose.
How much does it cost to publish an invitation?
The Free plan costs nothing: an invitation with the Wedira watermark and up to 30 guests. Essential costs €49, removes the watermark and has no limit on guests. Tailored costs €99 and adds the extra sections. You pay once per event, with no subscription.
How do guests receive the invitation? Do they need an app?
Share a link or a QR code however you like, for example on WhatsApp or by email. Guests open the invitation in their browser: no app and no account.
Which languages can the invitation be in?
Italian, English, French, Spanish and German: each guest sees the fixed parts in their own language. Automatic translation of the texts you write yourself is included in the Tailored plan.
How does the gift registry work? Do you collect the money?
No. The gift registry section, included in the Tailored plan, shows the gifts with the link or IBAN you choose. Contributions go directly to you: the money does not pass through Wedira.
How long does the invitation stay online? Can I upgrade to a higher plan later?
The invitation stays online for 30 days after the event with Free, 6 months with Essential, 1 year with Tailored. You can upgrade to a higher plan by paying only the difference.
Can guests upload photos of the party?
Yes, with the Tailored plan. The collaborative album opens on the day of the event or when you decide. Guests can upload photos up to 10 MB and videos up to 50 MB, and you moderate the content.
